Night-shift people, what brands do you recommend for earplugs and face masks?

I will need to sleep during the day and I don't want noise and light to keep that from happening.Night-shift people, what brands do you recommend for earplugs and face masks?
All those things will just distract you and keep you awake. Make sure the room is as dark as you can make it, and then get a sleep machine. The one I have has the sound of rain, a train and the ocean. It really helps me to block out other noises. You can turn it up or down depending on the ambient noise. Also, don't make the mistake of eating or drinking coffee when you get home. That will keep you awake.Night-shift people, what brands do you recommend for earplugs and face masks?
Hey Clayton,

Besides getting rid of the job, suggest taking Melatonin. A great natural substance to help adjust your internal alarm clock.

Black out curtains, or a basement apartment. Don't recommend earplugs, but don't live in a noisy apartment, either. I'm concerend with blocking out all noise, and not being able to be awoken for emergencies. I'd suggest a white noise machine. Face masks are a dime a dozen. Cheep cheap...:) For the white noise, here's a quick one I googled.

Also, might consider some of the Noise canceling earbuds. Could be pricey. Although they lower the threshold you're hearing noises, they don't eliminate it. The white noise masks, and seems to work for a lot of folks.

Anyway, pray this helps, and that you find a better paying day job.
