Does anyone use cpap and have trouble keeping the mask on at night?

I take mine off in my sleep. Do you know of any tricks to keep it on?Does anyone use cpap and have trouble keeping the mask on at night?
This is something normal and happens to everyone who wears cpap. Sometimes it is because you have to cough, sneeze or something like that and without even waking you will remove it. Keep trying to keep it on. It is more important to keep it on and keep using it than to give up on it.

Good Luck.Does anyone use cpap and have trouble keeping the mask on at night?
does your c-pap have a alarm of the hose or mask comes off if so turn the alarm on

check your user manual.
There are several styles of masks available and I recently changed to a different one. It is a Fisher %26amp; Paykel Model 432 and is much more comfortable then the previous style I had. It fits both my head and face better and the seal part is easier to remove, clean and replace.
It is not uncommon for people to remove their masks in their sleep especially if you are fairly new with it. The best thing you can do is put it back on when you wake. You can also have the mask alert set on your machine although not all units have them. I tell my patients to sit up with it on during the day while they are awake to help desensitize to it. This tends to help with the subconcious levels while you sleep and your tendency to remove it. If you can tolerate it while your awake you may not be as prone to remove it while asleep. Otherwise keep trying it is well worth the benefits. Good luck.
You need a tighter strap.
