Homemade face lifts, body scrubs, face masks, skin treatments, etc?

Ok, so i'm going to be seeing some friends that i haven't seen since spring this weekend, as well as some very cute guys, including my long time crush. i've made myself over a bit during the summer, new hair style, experimenting with makeup, etc....but i wanna feel really confident and pretty when i see all of these people...so my attitude fits how i look. i don't have ant money i can spend on this stuff, i'm gonna have to work with milk, sugar, salt, honey and limes and eggs and such. thanks for any ideas people....=)Homemade face lifts, body scrubs, face masks, skin treatments, etc?
I'm a poor college student and need to use what I have around the house as well. There are some great how-to sites that I've found that give some pretty good tips when it comes to homemade beauty products. You can try some of the articles on natural homemade facemasks (http://beauty.about.com/od/skinflaws/a/facemasks.htm) or soaps and bath bombs/scrubs (http://www.life123.com/hobbies/candles-soap/soap-making/making-bath-bombs.shtml#STS=fzh0wk93.1chu). The great thing about the recipes is that they are pretty simple and use things you already have in your house.

Good luck and let me know how it goes!Homemade face lifts, body scrubs, face masks, skin treatments, etc?

if you just want to soften your skin get a large glass bowl, fill it with boiling water put your face over it and put a towel/face cloth over the whole thing to trap the steam, stay for approx 5 Min's

a simple (but effective) scrub consists of lemon juice and sugar heated in the microwave for approx 30 seconds, the lemon is instantly refreshing and kills any bacteria, etc on your face because of its acidity and the sugar makes a fantastic natural scrub and brightener

Brown sugar and olive oil is also good overall mask, it exfoliates, brightens, and softens - mix a small amount of brown sugar with some olive oil in your palm until it turns into a paste, spread and massage over face and leave for approx 10 Min's

for more ideas the following is an awesome website:

A wonderful, gentle face scrub can be made by putting any raw oatmeal in a blender with a bit of fresh or dried Rosemary, Lavender blossoms, Rose petals, etc. I don't know where you are, but these all grow like weeds everywhere here in CA. Blend 'til chopped, but not turned into fine flour. Mix some of this mixture with a bit of water and scrub your face as with any other scrub. (Lavender is calming, Rose Petals are good for oily skin as an astringent).

A great Body Scrub is Honey %26amp; Brown Sugar. After you rinse, add a bit of milk to your bath.

Good luck, have fun, %26amp; don't stress out! Relax!

to make sure nothing happens to ur face make sure :
